Behind the Blooms
Little note from a happy customer...

"Dear Tiger Lily Florist,
Thank you for delivering such a beautiful bouquet to my friend. She sent a picture of it and you all did such a beautiful arrangement. My girlfriend said that you all are her favorite florist. Thank you for making her sad day a little less sad. Being out of state and ordering online is always a little unnerving, so it is a true state of character and professional to have a company that you can trust.
Sincerely,
from Merritt Island, Fl"

So here are a few photos from our recent visit to California. One of our favorite grower trips was to EverBloom in Carpinteria. They grow the most awesome gerbera daisies in so many colors - one of our most popular flowers...enjoy!!

OK so here's an update...check out how Gayla went from this shot...
To this cover shot...........congrats to our own Gayla Harvey......

Floral Management Magazine featured Gayla on the cover of their August 2013 industry trade magazine. 'The article titled "A(Scary) Storybook Wedding Plan" describes how this once recession proof shop is forced to face the tough realities, and a drastic compensation pay structure, which could be their happily ever after or heartbreaking final chapter.....'

I think we all know how this works out - YEAH!!!

While it might be a slower time of the year for the floral industry, the Lilies are busy behind the scenes.....trying to help make a difference in the community...cross your fingers that our photo will be featured on one of many local billboards across town....

"What’s with the big red shoes and what does that have to do with the 30th birthday of the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston?

You may recognize the size 29 EEE red shoes as those worn by our favorite clown, Ronald McDonald. McDonald’s was the first of many corporations to support the mission of the Ronald McDonald House. Wearing red shoes has become our symbol for joining others to make a difference to families of seriously ill children."

The Lilies at Tiger Lily Florist put on their own red shoes, laced them up and put their best (big, red) foot forward to join  in on going forward to the next 30 years.  (It’s a sole thing.)
